Trussardi Casa September 2014 Preview – Trussardi Group presented the Trussardi Home collection in partnership with Luxury Living Group at the 2014 Salone del Mobile. The brand has been in design since the early 1980s, with important collaborations and pioneering projects, from revamping the interior design for Alitalia to the 2011 capsule collection made with English designer Michael Young. Today, together with Trussardi Home, the Group offers a complete line of furniture and furnishing items, thus further affirming the brand’s lifestyle soul. Starting in September the collection will be enhanced with new furniture items including sofas, armchairs, coffee tables and bookshelf. Its everyday life items are in line with a dynamic and contemporary environment; the furniture and furnishing items have stern features, modern proportions and a keen eye to details and particulars where discrete luxury and natural elegance express the symbols of the Trussardi tradition. Precious fabrics and woods unite with leather-the quintessence of Trussardi style-as the stars of the show, together with the most extraordinary artisanal craftsmanship. This complete collection creates convivial atmospheres that transmit a sense of family that has always been dear to the brand of the greyhound.
MILANO SOFA
Milano is a sofa conceived as an authentic tribute to the city of Meneghino, Milan, which the House of Trussardi has always been tied to as far as style and dynamism. Formal beauty and unique style make for a solution designed to bestow contemporary living with elegance and personality. The large volumes in which the sharp geometries of the structure are contradistinguished by the broad seat with thick padding, soft leather upholstery and loads of cushioning.
SIT 414 ARMCHAIR WITH OTTOMAN- Design by Carlo Colombo
Armchair Sit 414’s design marks a new lightness of composition in which each structural element takes on an aesthetic value. The steel frame and rifle barrel finish create a profile distinguished by clean contours and accentuated angles that house a soft leather-upholstered seat. The colour-coordinated anchoring straps become another style feature, together with the matching Ottoman.
CUBO and TOTEM BOOKSHELF
A contemporary and eclectic design for the Cubo and Totem bookcases. Rational details and a versatile dimension characterise these two pieces-one with a front door, the other entirely open-defined by the wenge-dyed oak structure. Contrasting containing elements in varnished wood with a matte finish and burnished steel details complete the design with its full contours.
SADDLE CHAIR
Modern and laid back, the Saddle chair interprets Trussardi style, exalting details and finishes with mastery. The seat has a formal equilibrium that brings out the design of the clean, essential lines. Its unique style is underscored by the absolute quality of the materials: wenge-dyed solid ash wood for the structure and precious leather for the upholstery.
DUOMO COFFEE TABLE
An ensemble of graphic steel segments trace the contours of the Duomo coffee table’s structure. The lightness of expression blends harmoniously with classic or contemporary environments, also thanks to the elegant minimal Carrara or Emperador Dark marble surfaces.
